Leah Verier-Dunn is a dancer, choreographer, yoga teacher, and fine arts groupie. Her addiction to movement began as a girl who couldn't sit still, took her to Booker High School, and grew into a Bachelor of Fine Arts from New World School of the Arts in 2006. In 2007 Leah became co-director of Moving Ethos, a local modern based dance company. Leah spent a year in New York City working with Keigwin and Company and Adele Myers and Dancers, and taught dance classes at Peridance Center. Leah has also been very blessed to work with choreographers such as Robert Battle, Mark Haim, Bill Doolin and others. She spent two season's with Freddick Bratcher and Company in Miami. Her work has been featured in various festivals throughout Florida. Leah's movement combines the technical with the unexpected and plays with the challenge of transitioning seamlessly from one dynamic to the next with complete efficiency. The work of both herself and Moving Ethos is dedicated to bringing the arts back into our community on a local and global level.
