Mid-Year Student Evaluations Have Begun!!!
Friday/December/21 09:00 PM
Mid-Year Student Evaluations were held today for our
younger two levels in our Professional Classes. The
class consisted of a basic barre, petit allegro in
center, and floor crossings in ballet, and floor
crossings and combination in jazz. None of the
material covered this evening was previously
disclosed to give all of the dancers a level playing
field. Mid-Year dance evaluations are broken into two
sections: Classroom decorum and Physiological
development.
At the conclusion of the class, all students were given a blank copy of the SRQ Dance, Inc. Student Evaluation Form to take home and assess themselves. These will be returned in January when we return from Winter Break, and at that time we can set up conferences as necessary to further evaluate each student's personal development.
Students who were absent from today's evaluation will be expected to attend the evaluation in January for the remaining levels, where a modified syllabus will be administered to evaluate the dancers.
